NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS
Kerrin van Der Kruk is a warm and supportive psychologist who helps individuals and couples move through life’s challenges with greater clarity, connection, and self-understanding.
Clients often describe Kerrin as grounded, insightful, and easy to talk to. She brings not only professional expertise but also real-life wisdom from balancing her own busy family and working life—offering a therapy space that feels both effective and deeply human.
Kerrin works collaboratively with her clients to uncover patterns that are no longer serving them—especially the protective stress responses and reactive cycles that keep people stuck. Through gentle exploration and evidence-based strategies, she empowers clients to shift these patterns and create lasting change in how they relate to themselves and others.
Kerrin holds a Professional Master’s in Psychology and is committed to ongoing advanced training. She draws on a range of therapeutic approaches to suit each client’s needs, including:
Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)
Schema Therapy
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
She works with individuals aged 15 and up, and also supports couples who are navigating relationship distress, communication breakdowns, or disconnection. When working with couples, Kerrin uses Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help partners understand each other’s deeper emotional needs, rebuild trust, and reconnect.
Kerrin also welcomes clients who wish to explore spiritual themes in therapy. As a person of faith herself, she offers a space that is open, respectful, and inclusive of your beliefs and values.
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, facing a life transition, or longing for better connection in your relationships, Kerrin offers a warm, steady presence to walk alongside you.
